A one-week workshop, to learn how Nepalese make their lokta paper, as in the ancient years. We will show you how to dye with different plants used in the ancient age. After you create many handmade sheets, you have time to create your own book, together with Nepalese craftsmen and with the help of Belgian professional, in calligraphy and bookbinding.  In the morning we will take you for sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley, to discover the world of heritage, arts and crafts in Nepal.

For those who would like to see the papermaking in the village, we organize a one-week trek as option. If you are still interested in paper making, a third week will give you the opportunity to create unique paper with different fibers found in Nepal, together with experience papermakers from Belgium.

If you have done this before it is an advantage for you, but people who have no previous experience are also welcome.

Above rate includes all workshop material , Training , accommodation in sharing basis with breakfast, daily lunch, sightseeing, all the ground transfer.
